Specialising in CBD retail brokerage and project leasing, Lachlan's excellent communication and negotiation skills coupled with his market knowledge assures continued success in the industry.
Since 2012, Lachlan has operated within Brisbane's CBD leasing market. First with Ray White Commercial as a Leasing Executive, where he enjoyed early success across a series of large transactions, and then with Knight Frank Retail Leasing department. It was during his time at Knight Frank that he grew to become Brisbane CBD’s leading retail leasing agent. Lachlan was responsible for leading the Brisbane Retail Leasing team where his management capability saw his team exceed target expectations.
Lachlan has worked across a broad cross-section of both private and institutional landlords in Brisbane’s CBD including Abacus, Charter Hall, Fife Capital, Investec and the Smorgon family. His exposure to major project leasing has provided him with experience in concept design and tenancy selection.
Lachlan has negotiated major brokerage deals in the CBD including flagship tenants; General Pants Co, Culture Kings, Fast Times, Bankwest, Asics, Optus, Vodafone and JD Sports. And he has continued to deliver impressive tenants across projects including; Howard Smith Wharves, 414 George Street, Festival Towers, 60 Queen Street Mall and 130 Queen Street Mall.
Now, as one of the leaders of Belle Property Retail QLD, Lachlan is focussed on establishing the brand in Brisbane’s CBD and the broader Queensland market – reinforcing his role as the leading CBD retail specialist.
